AMBER Alert Assistant, A3 in short, enhances AMBER Alert using collaborative edge devices to track the kidnapper's vehicle in real-time.
This work has published as "Poster: Enhancing AMBER Alert using Collaborative Edges" on SEC 2017, and one regular paper "Distributed Collaborative Execution on the Edges and Its Application to AMBER Alerts" accepted by IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
A big data processing framework in collaborative edge environment.
Edge Video Analytics for Public Safety demonstrates that edge computing can reduce response latency and cost of transmission and energy, which we measure performances in some cases. For example, identify potentially dangerous events/objects (e.g., gunshot in a crime) using body-worn cameras and the cloud.
This work has published as "Demo Abstract: EVAPS: Edge Video Analysis for Public Safety" on SEC 2016.
An android application for entrance guard system based on WSN and smartphone. All locks form a network using WSN; the user sends a query to the server, then the server control the lock. The advantage of this application is the convenience of use and deployment.
This work awards the second price of the 7th National College Student Information Security Contest.
An android application for entrance guard system based on smartphone and arduino. The user gets the unlocking credential used once from the server. Hence the user can open the door with the credential and also the server can record this behavior. Here the lock is an electronic and controlled by an Arduino Uno which communications with smartphone using Bluetooth technology.
